About Me
Hi there, I'm Carolyn Seager and I'm a photographic artist, publisher, business owners and consultant.
I might be at the helm of a colourful portfolio career but in essence, I like to think of myself as a cantadora (keeper of the wisdom stories) here to shine a little light into the world wherever I can.
It used to be a very different story.
A North Devonian by birth, after University in Oxford I spent most of my career working as a communications professional for corporates such as Sony Playstation (International PR) and large publishing houses like Hearst (Assistant to Editor, ELLE).
After many years of working in London, I returned to the golden beaches of my childhood, yearning for the surf and the wild energy of the sea, the open road and the untamed coastline. I needed a far simpler, natural lifestyle that only the Atlantic horizon could offer.

I now divide my time between my photography, my consulatancy clients, my publishing business and my
Atelier. ​
​
The Ocean still plays an integral part in my life. I'm in it, on it or just alongside it most of the time so I feel duty bound to protect it. Blue Space Therapy is my drug of choice becaus for those of us who are children of the tides, the call of the sea is an ever powerful one.
Much of my consultancy work includes those who share my love of the sea. They include clients such as The Cleaner Seas Group, Wave Wahines CIC, Surf South West, Waterside Wellbeing Clinic and The Offshore Gallery.
I work mostly from my studios in Truro, Braunton and Bristol and also from my mobile T4 gallery, driving up and down the rugged coastline accompanied by my faithful photographic assistant, Surf Dog Bodhi - a black labrador who surfs like a dream and Aioffe, the goldie Princess who has the soul of Yemenah.
I'm now noticing that many others are seeking this simple, transitory existence, living in the now and forging a connection to Mother Nature. In short, finding refuge in a kinder planetary lifestyle.
Could it be that more of us are finally listening to our planet's heartbeat.

Photographic art and writing have always been my creative overspill as well as my primary 'job' so it's no surprise that I have now combined them into a publishing arm of my business. Holistic Health​
As a fully qualified therapist, naturopath, corporate wellness coach, nutritionalist, fitness professional and holistic health consultant I set up Carolyn Seager Naturally to provide a therapeutic wellness service to help you regain optimal health and balance in your life. This includes mental, physical and spiritual wellbeing. I now run my treatments, health holidays and surf esteem retreats from my home in North Cornwall. It is called Genoa, meaning to set sale in Italian. It is a safe place to fall for and I hope for many, I place where their dreams may set sale to fruition.

Biodynamic Gardener and Landscape Designer
For over twenty years I have been a biodynamic gardener and am passionate about breathing life back into our soil and food produce. More info coming soon.
